7th Annual Luke Boisi Memorial Benefit

The Mentoring Partnership of New York held its seventh annual Luke Boisi Memorial Benefit on June 17, 2010 at the Maritime Hotel in NYC.

The Luke Boisi Memorial Benefit is a unique event that celebrates the life of Luke Boisi, who passed away at the age of 21. The purpose of the event is twofold: to celebrate Luke's life and to introduce the event's attendees to the powerful cause of mentoring and mentoring opportunities in New York City. Mentoring had a great impact on Luke's life and he spent the last few years of his life committed to helping others, through his service with AmeriCorps. Over the past six years, more than 1250 young professionals have come together for the Luke Boisi Memorial Benefit and almost $200,000 has been raised to support the efforts of The Mentoring Partnership of New York.

Hundreds of young professionals enjoyed an evening that featured a private reception offering a three-hour open bar, passed Hors D'Oeuvres, a silent auction, and entrance into a raffle. Silent auction items included Tickets to the Mets, Yankees and Giants', Rounds at Yale, Friar's Head and Minisceonga Golf Clubs, Ahmed Bradshaw and Michael Strahan Autographed Footballs, and many more.

This years Luke Boisi Memorial Benefit was presented by The Young Professional Advisory Board which included Co-Founders: Zachary Boisi & Matt Bonanno, Co-Chairs: Bryan Boisi & Brandon Matz, Marketing Co-Chairs: Zachary Boisi & Allison Patrick, Silent Auction Co-Chairs: Kendall Wrigley, Jamal Epps, Paul Boisi
Sponsorship Co-Chairs: Andrew Gillick & Brandon Matz, Venue Co-Chairs: Alexis Feldman & Brett Cameron, Members: Lisa Castillo Richmond, Sean Doherty, Al Periu, Jamie Frieder, Diana Perdomo, Marian Weber, and Jonathan Villiman
