Band Together 2011
05/07/2011 - By Raleigh, NC

Band Together 2011

On May 7, over 5,500 event-goers showed up dressed in purple and rocked to the incredible music by Third Eye Blind, Dillon Fence, Lonnie Walker and I Was Totally Destroying It!

The huge success of this sold-out concert event means Band Together will donate approximately $460,000 to Alliance Medical Ministry this year – enough to Power Up The Purple Pod!

Band Together truly raised the bar in 2011, making this the best year yet. Since 2001, Band Together has donated over $1,400,000 to local charities. This incredible group of volunteers and sponsors has proven what a spirit of giving and passion for music can do for our community.

A purple light show on stage was an energetic display of our support for Alliance Medical Ministry’s goal to Power Up The Purple Pod! But the purple didn’t stop there. Volunteers and concert attendees dressed in purple. Mounds of purple balloons floated in VIP. Purple glow bracelets and bubbles were handed out. Purple beach balls were thrown into the crowd. Purple was everywhere!

The Purple Pod will allow Alliance Medical Ministry to:

1. Add a Physician to their team
2. Add a Nurse to their team
3. Decrease patient wait time – which, currently, can take up to 3 months for a new patient to obtain an appointment
4. Increase patient base by 1,500 NEW patients
5. Increase patient visits each year by 3,000
