EUUSA Happy Hour

On June 23rd EU-USA NGO (www.euusa.org) held its summer happy hour at elegant Stella restaurant and bar bustling South Street Seaport.

It was a great event, blessed with excellent weather and great company. Stella contributed to a memorable evening, with its indulgent hors d' oeuvres from its European/gastropub menu and refreshing cocktails. For sure an excellent choice! The event provided EUUSA’s members, friends and contacts with the opportunity to catch up or expand their network and exchange points of view on the business environment.



Says Pete Chatziplis, EUUSA’s Director of Finance and Development: “*EUUSA’s members, donors and partners share high morals that promote global cooperation, something that is now, more than ever, an urgent need as manifested by the financial crisis. At the same time they take advantage of opportunities for networking, recruiting, career and business development through EUSSA’s activities and events. We mainly depend on grants, donations and volunteer work to operate. As with other NGOs, the financial crisis has affected EUUSA even though its activities are so timely and its events offer such outstanding visibility opportunities to targeted audiences in a cost efficient way that also support corporate social responsibility agendas. EUUSA is planning some very interesting professional events for fall, the first one on the Euro at the French Embassy in New York where sponsorships are now available. This is a great topic considering the instability in the financial markets and differing policies in the US and EU. Other topics of interest include Sustainability/Green investing/Climate Change and the Financial Crisis as well as socials and formal events with high level diplomats. We are also open to suggestions and feedback regarding past and future events.” *
