311 E 11 Village Green and Young Real Estate Professionals of New York Toast New York Restoration Project’s Million Trees NYC Initiative

On Thursday, September 17th, 311 E 11 Village Green and the Young Real Estate Professionals of New York hosted cocktails to benefit the New York Restoration Project and celebrate the closing of TRASHION 2 at Gallery 151. The event was part of the ongoing Urban Green Initiative at Gallery 151, a series of art exhibitions, music concerts and dance performances that focus awareness on climate change and the importance of living in a responsible and sustainable way through the vision and language of the arts.
Guests enjoyed cocktails and vegetarian hors d’oeuvres as they viewed extraordinary artwork made of reused or recycled materials by artists including: Walker Fee, Clockwork Cros and Dan Walker. During the event, Michael Namer, developer of 311 E 11: Village Green, and owner of Gallery 151 announced that a portion of all works purchased that evening would be matched by 311 E 11 Village Green to benefit New York Restoration Project’s Million Trees NYC Initiative, a public-private program to plant and care for one million new trees across the City's five boroughs over the next decade. The evening raised almost $2,000 for New York Restoration Project.
The Urban Green Initiative events are sponsored by 311 E 11: Village Green, a new luxury condominium targeted to be the first LEED Gold certified residential building in the East Village.
