The 2010 Komen Pink Tie Ball is presented by the Orange County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The event will raise funds for breast cancer research and vital breast health services for Orange County women, a crucial need now that statewide budget cuts have ended local breast health programs. Themed “Destination: Cure,” the event is an elegant, inspirational evening that unites breast cancer survivors and advocates in their common promise to help end breast cancer forever. 75 percent of the money raised will support local programs focused on the breast health needs of underserved women in the community; 25 percent will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research.
