Storm King Art Center Gala
05/10/2010 - By New York, NY

Storm King Art Center Gala

Storm King Art Center—one of the world’s premier and best-loved
sculpture parks located in New York’s Hudson Valley—celebrated the
launch of its fiftieth-anniversary season with a festive black-tie
dinner and live auction in New York City.

Storm King is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary throughout the 2010
season (through November 14). In addition to the gala dinner at
Sotheby’s, highlights include The View from Here: Storm King at Fifty,
a special exhibition on Storm King’s history in the Art Center’s Museum
Building; 5+5: New Perspectives, a presentation of twelve new and
recent works by ten artists sited on the grounds; and a year-long roster
of engaging public and education programs for visitors of all ages.
