The Associate Board of NorthShore University HealthSystem Celebrates “An Evening Under the Harvest"

More than 250 friends and members of The Associate Board of NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) gathered at the Park West in Chicago on Saturday, October 15 for the organization’s 7th annual Benefit, An Evening Under the Harvest Moon.

Guests enjoyed a night filled with delicious hors d'oeuvres, drinks and dancing in an autumnal atmosphere while being serenaded by the acclaimed Chicago band, Dot Dot Dot.

A mainstay of the Chicago music scene, Dot Dot Dot performs over 150 dates each year nationwide. The band selected The Associate Board of NorthShore to be the recipient of their annual benefit concert, allowing the organization to commit more of the funds raised at the event to their mission of finding a cure for cerebral palsy in newborns, as well as supporting the Associate Board Emergency Family Fund. The fund is vital in assisting families whose children require the life-saving care provided by the Infant Special Care Unit (ISCU) at NorthShore Evanston Hospital.

Guests had an opportunity to see the impact of their generosity with a powerful video presentation about an ISCU family at the Benefit. Grateful parents of ISCU graduates took the stage to personally thank The Associate Board of NorthShore for their continued support. Since its inception, The Associate Board of NorthShore has raised more than $500,000 for the ISCU at NorthShore Evanston Hospital, a milestone they celebrated at the event. This year’s Benefit furthered their support of the ISCU and the families its serves by raising more than $82,000.
