The Garden of Eden Art Show
06/11/2009 - By NYC

The Garden of Eden Art Show

On June 11th a group of young artists put together an art benefit in NYC called The Garden of Eden Art Show.

Both professionally trained and self taught artists were involved in the show, but all had the passion to raise money for a worthwhile organization as well as get their own names out in the New York art scene. The charity they benefited, Ginat Eden, is an Israeli rehabilitation farm for young girls at risk. Through photography, paintings, prints, textile works, and more, the event came together seamlessly. With over 200 people in attendance and over 5,000 dollars raised, it is pretty evident the success that was accomplished at the Garden of Eden art show. Julie Groveman and Ariela Robinson who were the organizers of this event hope to put together other art shows in the future for other organizations that they support. For more information please contact Julie Groveman at artbyjulieg@gmail.com.
