The Parrish Art Museum’s Spring Swing
05/02/2009 - By Southampton

The Parrish Art Museum’s Spring Swing

Spring Swing, the Parrish Art Museum’s first major fundraiser of the year, took place Saturday, May 2, from 7:30 to 11 p.m.

Guests were invited to kick up their heels to Big Band and Swing Music from Todd Barrie Music.

Partygoers enjoyed hors d’oeuvres from Sant Ambroeus and specialty drinks, fine wines, and artisanal ales from an open bar. Guests were invited to bid in a silent auction on a terrific collection of merchandise and services including a one-year, weekday golf membership, a selection of fine carpets, and an array of luxury accessories from designers such as Versace, Etro, Michael Kors, Burberry, and Tuleh, to name just a few.

In addition, the Museum raffled two dinner tickets to its festive July Midsummer Party, a $2,000 value. Raffle tickets were $50 and can be purchased by phone or at the event.

Guests also had an opportunity to view the Museum’s current exhibition, Mixed Greens: Artists Choose Artists on the East End, a juried show that celebrates Eastern Long Island’s endurance as an art colony.
