Wisconsin Parkinson Association's Blue Collar Ball
09/24/2011 - By Milwaukee, WI

An evening of enjoyment - rooftop sculpture gardens, the world's most comprehensive “Man at Work” art collection, passed appetizers, gourmet chef displays, silent auction and raffle.

The Grohmann Museum's steel and glass-domed entrance, with stunning ceiling mural and floor mosaic, welcomed guests to three floors of gallery space and spectacular rooftop gardens, encouraging guests to mingle and explore the exquisite art, while savoring the different cuisines on each level.

Raising awareness about Parkinson disease is vital in the search for a cure, as the disease affects more than one million Americans. According to a recent study by Washington University in St. Louis, the Milwaukee metropolitan area may have one of the highest prevalence rates of the disease in the United States, with as many as 13,000 cases.
